In 1996 the Barcomb clan held a family reunion in Moorer's Forks, New York. Moorer's Forks is about 30 miles from the Canadian border, and a wonderful small town. We had the reunion on the grounds of Saint Anne's Church, about 250-300 people attended. The day was perfect, a few high clouds in the sunny blue sky, green grass, a big covered picnic area. It was a great experience. Everyone met new people, talked, and learned new things about our heritage. People exchanged information about our family, and found out who was in those old pictures that they brought with them. The day was a huge success! My father wanted to do one every year!
We do not currently have plans for another reunion. Planning a family reunion is very hard work and we are all very busy. If you or someone you know would be interested in helping us plan another reunion please email me at the link on the left.
